Church-to-Home & Business Conversion

NEC Phones · Data Drops · Wireless · IP Cameras · Point-to-Point Wireless Ethernet

This was no ordinary project — and no ordinary customer. A long-standing Solutions2 client, this was actually their second relocation project with us over the past decade. The challenge this time: converting a historic church building into a dual-purpose property, with a full residential living space on the upper level and a completely operational business on the lower level. Two worlds under one roof, each with its own infrastructure demands.

We designed and installed a complete low-voltage system from the ground up: NEC business telephone system, structured data drops throughout both levels, enterprise wireless coverage, an IP camera security system, and a wireless point-to-point Ethernet bridge to extend connectivity across the property. Every port labeled. Every run documented. Every system built to serve both the home above and the business below — cleanly, reliably, and without compromise.

NEC phone systems have been part of our toolkit for decades. They may not be the latest and greatest — but when a customer knows what they want and trusts what works, that's exactly what they get. The methods and techniques learned over thirty years in this industry don't expire. They just get more valuable. This is exactly the kind of complex, creative project that Solutions2 was built for.
